Jason Attacks Alice In Illustrated Fashion

The comic boom for Jason Voorhees was big in the early to middle 2024’s. Wildstorm comics, among others, generated numerous comic books featuring our favorite Crystal Lake slasher with tales of intrigue and murder. Recently, we contacted Wildstorm and DC comics to see if there were plans for a new adventure for Jason in the comic realm. Sadly, we were told that there are no plans at this time for a new comic book.

Within the last week, our site has received a few emails asking where this illustration of young Jason attacking Alice came from. We love this image, but this writer must profess that the knowledge of all of the Jason comics is not as large as a lot of fans that visit this website. So, do any of our visitors and fans of the series recognize the image below and which comic does it belong to, if any?

  1. i have all the comics, I have to admit I don’t recognize it off hand, but I’ll take a look tonight.

  2. It may not even be part of a comic book, but I figured it was as it looks to fit that type of illustration style. :)

  3. If its from a comic, there can’t be that many choices for it to have come from.

Might be promotional art or maybe just something somebody did?

I wish somebody would get the license and produce a stead stream of Friday the 13th or even Elm Street comics. I guess they reason they keep starting and stoping is because they aren’t making money. Maybe someone should just put both of those franchises in one comic… and take turns telling Jason/Freddy stories. Something of the sort. Maybe it will help.

I know i would LOVE to be able to write those stories… lol

  4. That illustrtion comes from Wildstorm Friday the 13th 6 issues graphic novel (last issue). The picture is from the last issue where some moments of Jason’s origin are revealed.
Imo, one of the best comic book for the franchise. Wildstorm did very good Jason stuff those days.

  5. Thats awesome. Cool artwork.

  6. @ st.nagornyy…so is that issue #6?

  7. That’s right.
