Jason Voorhees Grudgematch: Hillbilly vs Imposter
Last week’s grudgematch was surprisingly more heated and contested than the previous week. Many people weighed in stating their case for New Blood and A Lad Insane. The end result of this grudgematch is New Blood is victorious. I posted that this was a draw previously and it was an error on my part. Thanks for voting everyone so on to the next match….
Hillbilly vs Imposter
I had already planned this match weeks ago and really put thought into the plausibility of its existence. Old Roy would only really have a chance against one Jason and that would be Hillbilly Jason from Part 2. I know that Roy is not Jason and this is a Jason Voorhees Grudgeematch, but hey one of the two participants is a real Jason and the other is pretending to be him. Before some of you completely dismiss this matchup and pick Jason, look at some of the following points:
Hillibilly Jason only suffered a minor chainsaw wound to the arm, was kicked in the, um, private area and then had a machete put through his shoulder. That shoulder shot put him down to effectively end Part 2. In Roy’s case, he was hit with a tractor, causing sever bleeding in the abdomen, took a massive chainsaw shot to the shoulder/arm area and then was stabbed in the groin area. All of this punishment and he still kept going. It took a machete chopping off his hand and falling on a perfectly placed bed of spikes to dispose of Roy.
So, looking at all of this information and knowing the carnage left behind by these two, which one do you think would win this unusual and odd pairing?

I would go with Hillbilly Jason. He moves around faster than Roy and would end it quick. Roy wouldn’t know what happened.
Hillbilly Jason. By the way. How was part 6 and 7 a draw? I just got done counting, and part 7 beat 6 in the votes. What gives?
Roy would destroy Hillbilly Jason in a heartbeat. For one, Roy never smacked a handicapped kid in the face with a meat clever and rolled his ass down a flight of stairs. So may consider that one of Jason’s best kills but to me, it’s just one of his lowest chicken-shit blows. Roy found a way to kill a guy in less than one minute by using nothing but a leather strap and a tree trunk. If Roy ever met Hillbilly Jason, Roy would find a clever way to kill Hillbilly Jason with things you wouldn’t even think could be used to kill somebody. The only way Hillbilly Jason would have the upper hand was is if Roy was handicapped and in a wheel chair.

As much as I would love to vote Jason over Roy, I have to give this one to Roy. I mean this is a “grudge match” so I have to view them on strengths and abilities and look at the kills.
Roy used more power in his kills if you compare. Plus Hillbilly Jason really didn’t seem strong to me. Though he over powered Paul he truly looked like he was struggling to do so.
So in a one on one I think Roy would win.

On a side-note: jasonsfury, why was the previous match-up declared a draw? I’ve tallied up the votes, and it would appear that New Blood Jason won by a reasonable margin (eight votes, by my count).

I’d have to give it to Roy as well(no pun intended). Hillbilly J is too wild to put any thought into a slobberknocker with someone who just saw his son’s body mutilated. Plus Roy’s taller and bulkier than Hillbilly, giving him the opportunity to jam a road flare into Hillbilly’s head, setting his sack on fire(again, no pun intended). The only thing I can think of that Hillbilly has up on Roy is his ability to be in two places at once: through a window and unconscious on his shack floor. That ability to quantum leap could give him a tactical advantage to confuse Roy into wild swinging. Their battle has to have Dueling Banjos as its soundtrack. “Squeal like a pig!”

As much as I love crazy Hillbilly Jason, if it comes down to strength and intelligence Roy is going to kick his ass.

In F2, we had “HillBilly” Kill a dog, hack a paraplegic in the face, copy the “deathnerve” spear kill, and hammer-claw an officer of the law in the skull. In F5, we had Roy use a rubber strap/stick, Roadflare in mouth, terrorize Tommy, kill one of the hottest chicks in the series (blonde coke blower),and even killed an innocent grandpa. (Sorry to point out what we know, it’s just helping me vote)
I guess I’m closing in on the fact that we have Hillbilly kill a paraplegic, and Roy kill a grandfather. Based on a heartless act, I have to vote in HILLBILLY JASON-the formula sticks; teens in Jason’s territory wheelchair or not.

Hillbilly Jason has my vote. Roy was tough to take all that damage. But I believe Jason was already immortal in part 2. I mean He came back from drowning in a lake. And the machete in the shoulder I think just pissed him off. Hillbilly Jason would surely dispose of Roy.

This is easy Hillbilly Jason, I mean come on the actual Jason vs. the Imposter (Roy) from part 5. There’s really no competition here, and don’t get me wrong part 5 is one of my favorite entries in the series,I just like Jason from part 2 better.
I love Part 2 Jason, but Roy was physically tougher. He crashed through a door, while Hillbilly Jason fell off a chair. A kick to the nuts took down Hillbilly Jason, while Roy kept coming after being run over by a tracktor.
He took Junior’s head off with one swipe, while Hillbilly Jason only gave Ginny a flesh wound with a pick-axe.

Roy all the way, don’t get me wrong Jason part 2 was great,but the whole she was Jason mother vision causing him to stop for a minute thing just makes me choose Roy. Another reason is because i see Roy like Pamela Voorhees i mean think about it Jason dies she goes on a killing spree, Roy’s son joey dies he goes on a killing spree.
I vote for Roy too! Jason from Part 2 was super creepy but Roy was more powerful. Like Jason from 3 & 4 he bursts through a closed door! He was more super-human than Jason from Part 2. Maybe Pamela and Roy were related somehow.
