The New Blood “Black 7″ Hock Update

We mentioned these new replica masks a few weeks ago and now Mario has contacted us to give an update on the production and here is the latest. Below is a picture showing the first eight finished replica “Black 7” masks as well as the screen used mask in the case. One mask is displayed from the flipside so you can see the red plastic surface. Just compare the masks in the picture and see how nice these look. These have an amazing paint job. Also, it was mentioned that shipping quotes will go out early next week. Once the shipping payment is received, the masks will be shipped.

  1. Thats badass!!! The New Blood mask has always been my favorite.

  2. wow thats amazing

  3. These do look amazing guys. Very impressive! Look forward to seeing this mask in person.

  4. Wow! Those look so accurate. How much?

  5. Are they already spoken for JF?

If so I def missed out on a great mask for my first. I’ve been looking for the right one and this could be it.

  6. There are a few left, JJ. I suggest you get this if you can swing the money. These are very, very accurate. If still interested, send inquiries to info@fridaythe13thprops.de. Place the phrase “Black 7? in the subject line.

  7. That’s so beautiful. I think I might just cry.

  8. I think it’s great Mario is offering this mask and placed my order today. He deserves credit for having good reasons for only wanting to offer a replica of this mask out of the many from his collection and if you really like Part VII (which I do) I don’t see how you can pass this opportunity up.

I have to say this hobby is one of the more frustrating I’ve been involved in with people throwing loyalties behind mask makers or prop owners and being disrespectful towards other artists and fans. A couple of the more popular mask makers from FS have made me some really nice masks but I had to deal with looong delays, difficult communication, or straight up lies to cover for other people’s poor business ethics so nobody is perfect.

I say if you like a mask someone has made, that’s great and you should get it and be proud it’s in your collection. Even if someone hasn’t used this blank or that source for a mask you should appreciate the effort they’ve put in to something they care about and enjoy. About the only time someone should be bashed is if they are lying about what they are selling or say they have. Enjoy the movies and communicating with other fans!

  9. I ordered mine yesterday, I purchased the prop arm from part 7 through Mario and he is easy to talk to and easy to do business with. I will have to agree with Joliet Jerry I have had to deal with douches before and they are disrespectful towards other artists and fans. Mario, your aces in my book

  10. Wow really amazing detail!

  11. Am I really the only one that is bothered by this? In the hobby of mask and prop collecting pretty much anyone who recasts anything is looked down upon and shunned by the community but Mario does it and people applaud him for it??? I have nothing against Mario, i love his site and what he’s done to protect friday the 13th history and he did an excellent paint up on those, they look great but this kind of hypocrisy really bugs me.
