Win “The Terror of Crystal Lake” With Fridaypedia
The time is here to kick off our spooktacular Halloween celebration for the month of October. We are now ready to unveil our first contest of October and it is one of the biggest we have ever held at our website. Sideshow Collectibles has teamed with Friday the 13th: The Website to give one lucky Friday the 13th fan a Sideshow Exclusive, The Terror Of Crystal Lake, polystone Jason Voorhees statue. We have covered the statue since news first broke on it’s production last Fall and are sure all of our visitors are aware of how valuable a piece this statue is.
So, you want to know how to win this awesome Jason Voorhees collectable? Well, that leads into another piece of news that will definitely interest our visitors. The Fridaypedia, which was opened in June as an extension of Friday the 13th: The Website, has now been made fully editable for fans and visitors. What this means is that all sections of the Fridaypedia can be edited by anyone who visits the site to include the vast knowledge of the Friday the 13th Community. For those that are not aware, the Fridaypedia is a Wiki-based knowledge-base that is a cumulitive effort of the Admins of fridaythe13thfilms.com and you the fan to include as much information on the Friday the 13th film series as possible. It is a chance for fans to contribute their own information to this great website and have a say in horror movie history. How does this tie into the aforementioned contest? Lets find out.
To enter the contest for the “The Terror Of Crystal Lake” statue, please do the following:
1. Signup for an account at the Fridaypedia.
2. Make sure that your Fridaypedia account has an email address included. This is how we will contact the winner.
3. If you already have an account set up, just make sure your account has a valid email address associated with it.
4. Start contributing to Fridaypedia! If you are not sure how to contribute, there are easy tutorials to aid you.
Within the next two and half weeks, the Admins of this website will track the activity of users who are contributing to the Fridaypedia. Visitors/Users who have set up an account with a valid email address and have regularly been editing and adding to the knowledge-base will be added into a drawing to win the “Terror of Crystal Lake”.
fridaythe13thfilms.com reserves the right to end this contest at anytime. Please be respectful of others who have added information to the Fridaypedia. Malicious behavior on the Fridaypedia will not only disqualify a visitor from the contest, but could lead to that visitor being banned from the website. The contest begins Tuesday September 28th and ends on Thursday October 14th. The winner will be notified on Friday October 15th.
