Friday the 13th Remake 19″ Jason Figure

Neca’s 19″ Remake Jason Figure looks awesome. I have one question for you guys – would you display him with the baghead on, or the hockey mask?

From on the upcoming re-make of the Horror classic this brand new Jason figure stands 19″ tall. Jason comes with 2 interchangeable heads and a machete that can be slid in out of a sheath on Jason’s left leg. The figure is incredibly detailed and is based on his new look. Ball jointed neck and shoulders and swivel forearms, wrists and waist.

  1. I love this figure. It looks great. I would likely display it with the hockey mask. But man, the bag head looks great. Almost tempting to buy…2 of them

  2. I’d love to see a Sideshow figure for the remake.

  3. He looks awesome. I hope at some point produce a diorama or scene from the new movie to buy. Much like the Part 2 scene with Jason and his mother’s head in his shack.

  4. This figure is sooo coool. I would display him with the bag on. I have so many Jason figures that dawn the hockey mask so the bag head would be nice to add to the collection.

  5. To: The Ugly
i totally agree with your philosophy on this, but i would have to go with the hockey mask only because i have so many different movie accurate versions with the hockey mask on this would just top it off. i hope this movie is as sick as it looks. scratch that. it better be.

  6. Looks pretty standard NECA. Not bad, but wish there was an even bigger one, the hockey mask looks a little underwhelming in that size.

  7. With the bag, it looks really cool!

  8. Love that you can change heads with this one. I love the size of the machete and that you can slide it in the sheath on the left leg. I’m marking down the days on the calendar.

  9. where can i buy this

  10. Yep definitely displaying it with the bag head. That’s my favorite look of Jason. Scares the living snot out of me.

  11. They have these on Ebay already, but they won’t ship them until the release date in Feb. But you can purchase and reserve it.

  12. holy crap, that machete is HUGE

  13. id use the bag head

  14. definetly baghead

  15. Check out the replica mask!! Holy crap!!!

  16. Both look pretty friggin sweet. The baghead I’d go for though not cause I’m sick of the hockey mask by any means, love that hockey mask. The Baghead just looks really well done, kinda like a 1-eyed ninja. (Yeah that’s the best simple, first impression, description I can give)

As for the mask replica not too impressed. I can’t wait to see the unlicensed masks they’ll come up with.

  17. Ill be picking this up and display it next to my teaser poster and autographed Derek Mears Photo.

I would switch it up every now and then between bag head and hockey mask. But the first display would be the bag head since it looks well done

  18. Think I would go with the hockey mask,, just seems more Jason

  19. Hey guys, I haven’t posted in a while, and just to do a bit of an off-topic post, instead of ordering form DeepDisocunt at the end of the month, I broke down today and picked up the new My Bloody Valentine uncut edition from LionsGate co-put out by fuckin’ Cashamount, and I must say it’s a fine release. I first popped it in my up-concerted theater player and it is a very fine looking version of the film, with an excellant documentary/fresh interview featurette about the Rise and Fall of the Slasher Film with Adam Rockoff whom I’ve heard on commentary tracks and who’s written liner notes to inserts and of course wrote a great book is interviewed, along with some of the still lookin’ fine for they’re age(s) cast and the director and original Canadian distributors.

Since I own the previous barebones edition of this from Cashamount, I actually first looked at all of the introductions with the director and make-up FX artists and gotta say, while there is a noteciable drop off in quality (think of the Anchor Bay Silent Night, Deadly Night flipper disc we all have) in terms of the re-inserted gore quality, it’s much more of a victory then a minor loss, I feel. ;)

so glad this is finally back on DVD, in print, and with the infamous gore footage re-inserted and soem new extras. A hardcore Slasher & Giallo fanatic and collector such as myself chouldn’t ask for no more. :D And I hope everyone buys they’re copy and supports it.

Also please think abot heading off to the multiplex, all of my fellow North Americans, and support eh 3-D redux this weekend as I’m doin’ with my oldest nephew and neice. Can’t wait to see it! ;) Lt’s not let that new generic lookin’ Daniel Greig (the new James Bond) thriller take the top honors for the box office race this weekend. *lmao* :D

  20. Glad to hear “Bloody Valentine” was good, previews look fair, but the character looks like a straight carbon copy from “The Trackman”.
Maybe I’ll rent it when it comes out.

  21. dude dont bother with the neca crap…its good looking but not enuf…go to frightstuff

  22. Ah, good call voorhees13. Frightstuff is the ONLY place for hockey masks.

  23. Hey u all, I to am a huge Jason fan and my local collectible shop already has them. Yes I am saying I have this collectible already and can not wait for the movie to come out. P.S. The one with the mask looks better than the sack. It comes with both though, but you can choose one with the sack head on or the one with the mask and the mask looks better than shown on the net.

  24. I am sooooo devastated that I cannot watch the new movie on opening day. It turns out I have a business conference sceduled for that day. DRAT! I am sooo scared that I wont be able to wait and “ACCIDENTALLY” read the spoilers like I did with Harry Potter 7. :o

People think the mask is more classic Jason. I dont believe that because Jason’s first appearance was in the burlap sack. The mask has just been in more movies.
