Production Crew Challenge: The Distributor Results

production_challenge1
To start off this new challenge, I figured I had to get one of the two easier production areas out of the way. Now, I am sure some wondered why even bother with having people vote on the distributor as most people were going to pick Paramount. That being said, I always have to give visitors the chance to voice their opinion and vote for what they think is the best. There is going to be one other area of this challenge that will be similar to this in terms of voting dominance, but most of the others should be fun to see who or what is chosen.

Here are the voting results for The Distributor

  1. This wasa no doubter. Look forward to what you have next “jasonsfury!”

  2. well out of all of these companys you would think that warner brothers would at least come in second paramount put out 4 of the worst friday movies and new line\’s were garbage,in comparing paramounts last four efforts and all of the new line crap wb\’s was actually pretty damn good.for me reboot jason is better than robot jason.that zombie story line was always a bad way to go,they should have just kept him alive or escape or something so that the zombie story line didn\’t have to come into play.case in point in jeepers creepers the first one it\’s better when the creepers in the truck and when you see that it\’s some alien reptile type thing and not a person it was garbage from that point on.imo

  3. Boo Paramount! The series started auspiciously in spite of Paramount, not because of them. Paramount was always up front about the franchise continuing only for the dollars.

enolf said thier just trying to cash in on a franchise

  5. Doesn’t Warner Bros own New Line anyway?

  6. You are correct, but Jason Goes To Hell and Jason X were made prior to New Line being acquired by Warner bros. So, the point was to see if you wanted New Line when it was it’s own company, Paramount or now Warner Bros, who owns New Line and the Friday the 13th franchise.

  7. Where are the frakin’ blu-rays (parts 4 thru 7 – or 8, if you’re interested), Paramount?

    This wait is damned long!!

I smell box set coming soon……

  9. Hahahaha that 1 lonely vote for WB was me! Am I the only one who has noticed that Paramount has treated the series like shit and that New Line is just too stupid to release anything decent. I mean, look at the box sets and special editions Paramount has put out. They still haven\\\’t released uncut versions of the other installments and have reportedly lost a majority of the negatives related to the series. Because of that we will probably never get anything more and we\\\’ll never get to see that alternate ending to part 3!! DAMN YOU PARAMOUNT!!!

  10. Good point Vinnie D. I’m surprised Warner Bros. didn’t get more love for being the only ones with the balls enough to put a real Friday movie out uncut. (besides almost Jason-less JGTH) I missed the vote or I would have gone that way also.
