Monstermania And Friday the 13th 8/20/10
A few weeks ago we mentioned that Marta Kober (Sandra, Friday the 13th Part 2) would be attending her first convention and fans would have their very first chance to find out what she has been up to since seemingly disappearing from acting in the mid 1990’s. Well, Marta is just one actor from the series that will be attending this weekend’s huge Monstermania convention in Cherry Jills, New Jersey. Also attending their first conventions this weekend are David Kagen (Sheriff Garris, Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part 6), Tom Fridley (Cort, Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part 6) and Tiffany Helm (Violet, Friday the 13th: A New Beginning). Fans of ‘A New Beginning’ are always clamoring to find more information about that film, so picking TIffany’s brain will be a treat for convention attendees.
Also attending are the beautiful Amy Steel (Ginny, Friday the 13th Part 2) and Erin Gray (Diana Kimble, Jason Goes To Hell). I hope everyone enjoys this weekend’s festivities and has a safe and enjoyable trip!

Sounds very cool! I’m honestly NOT a big ‘convention person’ at all, as I prefer to admire the genre stars who have no doubt been asked in-depth questions about only a few films from a distance myself. Reguardless, I truely apprechiate them for comin’ out! Especially lovely ladies like Mrs. Helm and the low coming out of hiding (presumably) Ms. Kober.

Just one quick notE: Ms. Erin Gray’s convention moniker avatar oddly reads from “Friday the 13th Prt.6 Jason Goes to Hell”.
Um, someone should contact the MonsterMania people immediately and to let them know that she WASN’T a star in Part VI. She was only in Jason Goes to Hell. Just a quick little mix-up there that hopefully they can remedy and fix.
Man, Erin Gray still looks hot.
I’m headed up to the Fan Expo in Toronto on the 27th and was surprised the F13 alum is David Cronenberg…who isn’t technically alum…more just a cameo…
