Posted 21 Sep 2026 in The Saga

We keep rolling out more blogs on this past weekend’s Monster Mania 16 convention. It was a huge hit with big named stars from the entire horror genre. MM16 also had an impressive lineup of actors from the Friday the 13th films with a lot of great stories told to fan attendees. One question we are Always asked here is what do these people look like today? Well, now we have a treat for those fans that have yet to see some of these Friday the 13th actors since their appearance in their films.

He was quick to load his images after this past weekends events and now we benefit from his promptness. Check out the photos below and see how much, if any, the stars have changed.

Demon Truly Loves His “Damn Enchiladas”

Posted 20 Sep 2026 in Merchandise

As we have been reporting the last few weeks, Monster Mania 16 took place this past weekend and featured many Friday the 13th guests. One such guest is Miguel Nunez Jr., who played Demon in Friday the 13th Part 5: A New Beginning. While he was at the convention, he got the opportunity to express how he has been feeling all of these years about his favorite food. Fright Rags provided him the means to tell his feelings to the world, well sort of.

Below is an awesome picture of Miguel wearing a T-shirt provided by Fright Rags and posted by them on Twitter. ”Demon” loves them Damn Enchiladas!

Part 5 Contact Sheets Reveal Behind The Scenes

Posted 18 Sep 2026 in The Saga

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning is truly my guiltiest pleasure of the franchise. Jason Goes To Hell is my second favorite of the series, but in terms of the shear fun factor, Roy’s romp through Pinehurst is the best. Throughout the last year, I have been researching everything that can be found about this often overlooked film. First, Germaniac found the main shooting location last Summer, which led to a very cool interview with the owner of the location. That interview revealed a lot about the history of the ranch and also some interesting stories about the filming and the special effects.

Next, we discussed the other Jason stuntman in Part 5, John Hock. Mr. Hock portrayed Jason in 3 shots of the film and that finally shed some light on the ongoing debate amongst fans about who played Jason in what scenes. The last piece that was discovered from the movie was the shooting location of the diner where Billy goes to pick up Lana. Now, we have discovered something even more revealing of the filming.

Below are three contact sheets from the movie that show images that have never been seen before to the general public. These sheets show numerous scenes while they were being filmed and include effects shots and setup shots. Of note is the scene with the greasers where the one is killed with the machete. That death was cut severely, where you never see the machete actually cutting the neck. Well, in the contact sheet, you can see this motion.

You can also see the hijinks of Matt (Richard Young) being prepped for his body being revealed to Pam while running through the woods. The images are small and may be hard to see, but I think everyone should be able to get the idea. Enjoy!

Jason From ‘Freddy vs Jason vs Ash’ Comics

Posted 18 Sep 2026 in Merchandise

The first comic series of the Freddy vs Jason vs Ash saga left Jason Voorhees without the bottom part of his hock. I always thought that look of Jason was awesome and could easily imagine it used in a feature film. However, getting a real good thought of what the new look would look like in real life is always tricky. Well, DWN Productions has created a very accurate rendition of Jason’s look from the comics and, in my mind, should really be used in a sequel at some point. Jason just looks plain mean and vicious.

View some great shots of DWN’s mask below and visit their website for more details on this very unique version of Jason Voorhees!

Friday Conversation: What Do You Like In A Friday Website?

Posted 17 Sep 2026 in Website

So, this week’s conversation doesn’t necessarily pertain to the movies, but our great website. I have been writing here on this website for close to 2 years and have seen a lot of visitors and topics come and go. I think most of the series topics and news we bring to our visitors is worthy of the history of this website. However, curiosity has grabbed my attention and now I have to ask everyone a simple question. What do you like in a Friday the 13th website?

There are websites, Friday the 13th related or not, that offer certain areas of interest to their visitors. If you had to choose one thing about a website that most interests you what would it be?

1. Discussions (Message Forum, Comments on blog)
2. News and Updates
3. Content (Photos, video, information on movies)

So, here is your chance to sound off and tell everyone what you like in a website generally as well as a Friday the 13th website, specifically. Tell us what you don’t like about websites that are set up today and what you may not like about our website here. Now, this does not give everyone the license to bash individual websites, but what you like or dislike about the content in general.
